Dedicated to the memory of Rob Golding
This site is a tribute to Rob! Rob Golding was one of a kind - generous, kind, patient, wise and so fun! He loved to embarass his daughters but also was their biggest supporter - nothing was too much! Alzheimers robbed us all of 10 precious years with our wonderful husband/ father / friend and it’s a disease which needs to find a cure- it strips people of their whole identity!

My memories of Rob from over 50 years ago remain vivid and always makes me smile when I think about this lovely,laid back gentle guy who proved that nice people can still get to the top in their chosen careers. We started out together on the local paper in York on our journalistic paths and I will always remember the amazing Golding smile that charmed all who had the pleasure of being interviewed by him. RIP old friend
